12 Month Lead Prices - Sept 2007 to Sept 2008  Perfect Equipment, our principle wheel weight supplier, has lowered their weight prices twice in the last three months. Price decreases have been largly due to the reduction in the world market price of lead, reduction of costs in the poly-coating process and a more competitive pricing structure.
Perfect Equipment will pay for your used lead wheel weights at the current price of 60 to 70 cents a pound, depending on the amount of lead turned in. That means six 5 gallon buckets of used wheel weights are worth about $600.00. Perfect will pay all freight charges on used weights that are returned to their plant.
